Admission Process:-

1) The first step is to fulfill all the eligibility criteria stated for MBBS.
2) The most important step in the MBBS admission process is to first give the NEET (National eligibility entrance test) entrance exam. NEET entrance exam is conducted by NTA (National testing agency). NEET entrance exam is conducted every year for medical aspirants. In 2020, 13 Lakh students appeared for the NEET examination.
3) After students appear for the entrance exam, results are declared by NTA on their official website.
4) After the results are declared, a counseling session is kept. First is All India counseling and next is state counseling scheduled by every state. Students are called to different colleges according to the ranks they have scored. The seat is allotted according to the ranks obtained in NEET and cutoffs declared by medical colleges. First, the students need to apply for All India NEET counseling. There are 15% seats available in all India NEET counseling, if a student can get a seat in all India counseling, then they do not have to go for state counseling.
5) State counseling sessions such as Uttar Pradesh NEET counseling, have 85% of seats which need to be allotted. In Uttar Pradesh, there are almost 6400 seats available for MBBS.
6) Once the students get seats in a particular college, they need to complete all the further formalities from the college’s end.
