The College is promoted by Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences (SAIMS) Society & Bhandari Group of Hospitals & Institutions (BGHI) which always ensures and works for the betterment of the society with their social welfare initiatives & activities. The founder of the College cum chairman Dr. Vinod Bhandari & his wife Dr. Manjushree Bhandari in 2003 started this journey from a small dispensary in 1980 which lead to this renowned medical Institution.

The University was established in the year 2003 by the Sri Aurobindo Society & is affiliated to Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University, Jabalpur.
