This premier medical college was established in the year of 1986 at BG Nagara, near Sri Adichunchanagiri Kshetra. The college was inaugurated by the former Honorable Chief Minister of Karnataka, Sri Ramakrishna Hegde on 17th Jan 1986 in the presence of Padmabhushana Dr. Sri Sri Sri Balagangadharanatha Maha Swamiji.
