NEET UG Counseling in Punjab will be held by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS). Candidates will have to do online registration to participate in the counseling process. The schedule for Punjab NEET counseling 2022 will be released on the official website. Punjab NEET UG counseling is held in two rounds. However, the second round will only be conducted if any seats are left vacant after the first round of Punjab NEET counseling. A candidate who has qualified for NEET 2022 and got a domicile in Punjab can apply for the state quota seats of Punjab. To participate in the Punjab NEET 2022 counseling, a candidate needs to register online on the official website of BFUHS. Candidates must note that the applications for the counseling of Punjab NEET 2022 will be accepted in online mode only. Applications submitted offline or through email will not be accepted.

Punjab NEET 2022 counseling Eligibility
Candidates who wish to apply for Punjab NEET counseling 2022 are advised to go through the eligibility criteria before registering online. Ineligible candidates will not be considered for the seat allotment process and the counseling fee paid by them will be forfeited. The eligibility criteria for Punjab NEET 2021 counseling is as follows:
- Candidates must have qualified for NEET 2022
- They must have registered for the counseling of Punjab NEET 2022
- They must be a domicile of the state of Punjab
Punjab NEET 2022 counseling Process
Admission to the MBBS and BDS seats that fall under the 85% state quota will be through Punjab NEET counseling 2022. Candidates who qualify for NEET 2022 will have to register themselves on the official website of BFUHS. After completing the registration process, they will have to submit their course and college preferences online. Based on these choices, BFUHS will prepare the seat allotment list. The steps involved in Punjab NEET 2022 counseling have been elaborated below:
Step 1: Registration
To participate in Punjab NEET counseling 2022, it is mandatory for the candidate to register on the official website of BFUHS. Candidates who fail to register within the stipulated timeframe will not be eligible for Punjab NEET 2022 counseling.

- Go to the official website of bfuhs.ac.in
- Register using mobile number and email ID
- Enter details such as name, father’s name, preference of course, college, category, quota, NEET 2022 marks, etc.
- Complete the application form
- Note down the registration ID and password for future reference
Step 2: Depositing the registration/application fee for Punjab NEET counseling
- The application fee for the Punjab NEET 2022 counseling has to be paid online
- The application fee can be paid using credit card/debit card/net banking
- If a candidate fails to deposit the application fee for Punjab NEET 2022 counseling, their application will not be considered

Step 3: State Merit List
BFUHS will prepare a state merit list and will upload it on the official website of the institute. The merit list will include only those candidates who had registered themselves on the official website of BFUHS. Apart from the state ranking, a candidate will also be ranked on the basis of the category that he/she belongs to.
Step 4: Institutional preferences
Next step in the counseling process of Punjab NEET is to choose the college/institute of preference. Candidates need to login into their registered accounts and choose from the choices provided. The seats will be allocated to the candidates based on the choices filled in this stage; hence, a candidate must choose the options wisely.
Step 5: Seat allocation list
Next, a seat allocation list will be prepared by BFUHS. This list will be prepared on the basis of the choices filled by the candidates and their state merit. The seat allotment list will also be available on the official website of the institute.
Step 6: Reporting to the allocated institute
Candidates who make it to the seat allotment list of Punjab NEET counseling 2022 will have to report to the allocated institute for verification of their documents. After the verification of the documents and the eligibility of the applicant, the head of the institute will issue a bank challan for the deposition of the fee.

- Certificate of Class 10/birth certificate (as proof of age)
- Marksheet of Class 11 (as proof that the candidate had studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English)
- Marksheet of Class 12 (verification of eligibility)
- Punjab resident certificate
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Exemption certificate (if applicable)
- EWS certificate (if applicable)
- Certificate issued by the head of the institution certifying that the candidate has completed Class 10 and Class 12 from their institute
- Sworn declaration by the parent
- Sworn declaration by the candidate
- Affidavit by the parent/guardian stating that the candidate has not applied for the counseling of any other state(s)
Step 7: Depositing the tuition fee
