Maharashtra NEET PG Counseling

The exam is conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). The counseling and seat allotment are conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will conduct the Counseling for Maharashtra NEET PG 2022 in the online mode at mcc.nic.in. According to the latest notification, NBE has released the Maharashtra NEET PG 2022 result cum merit list for AIQ Counseling 2022. Official sources confirmed that the Maharashtra NEET PG 2022 Counseling will begin on September 1. However, the Maharashtra NEET PG 2022 Counseling schedule is expected to be announced soon at mcc.nic.in.

Earlier, MCC released an office stating that as part of its effort to make the process of generating PWD certificates transparent and hassle-free, the MCC IS developing software for eligible candidates participating in the Maharashtra NEET PG 2022 Counseling under the PWD category. All applicants who applied under the PWD category must get their PWD certificates from the designated center through an online mode to participate in Maharashtra NEET PG 2022 Counseling.

Types of Maharashtra  NEET PG 2022 Counseling

The Maharashtra  NEET PG 2022 result by the NBE is used for Counseling and the seat allotment process. As mentioned above, the Counseling of Maharashtra  NEET PG 2022 for 50% AIQ and 100% deemed and central universities, ESIC, and AFMS seats will be conducted by MCC. While for state quota and seats in private universities, the Maharashtra  NEET PG 2022 Counseling will be conducted by respective state bodies. Types of Maharashtra  NEET PG Counseling 2022

Maharashtra  NEET PG 2022 Counseling for 50% AIQ, 100% deemed/central universities, ESIC institutes

●     The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of the MCC will conduct the Maharashtra  NEET PG Counseling 2022 for admission to 50% seats under AIQ and 100% seats in deemed and central universities and ESIC institutes.

●     The Counseling PG Counseling registration will be done for all aforementioned institutes, which can be done through a single window.

●     For 50% AIQ seats in government institutes, four rounds of Counseling of Maharashtra  NEET PG 2022 will be conducted.

●     For 100% seats in deemed and central universities, MCC will conduct an additional mop-Maharashtra round after the second round of Maharashtra  NEET PG Counseling.

Step 1: Maharashtra  NEET PG Counseling registration 2022

●      To register for the Counseling of Maharashtra  NEET PG 2022, click on the registration link Counseling above

●      Enter details such as name, date of birth, roll number, Maharashtra  NEET PG 2022 application form number, security code, and other relevant information

●      Verify the details and submit them carefully

●      Login credentials for Maharashtra  NEET PG Counseling will be generated

●      After login Counseling with all details such as parents’ details, contact details, category, and nationality

●      Enter Maharashtra  NEET PG details such as application number and roll number

Step 2: Payment of registration fee

Step 3: Maharashtra  NEET PG Counseling registration slip

●      After successful payment of Maharashtra  NEET PG 2022 Counseling fee, registration slip for the candidates will be generated.

●      Download the registration slip.

●      Take a printout of the slip for future reference.

Step 4: Maharashtra  NEET PG Counseling choice filling and locking

●      Visit the MCC website for Counseling of Maharashtra  NEET PG 2022

●      Login using the credentials – stream (medical/dental), roll number, and password

●      Start filling your choices of course and college for Maharashtra  NEET PG seat allotment

●      To add a new choice click on the ‘+’ button

●      To rearrange the order of any choice, drag the choice to the desired position

●      Once satisfied with the choices filled, click on ‘save and next’ to lock the choices.

●      If a candidate forgets to lock the choices filled, they will be automatically locked.

After coMaharashtraleting the registration process for round one of Maharashtra  NEET PG Counseling, DGHS will conduct the seat allotment processing. Maharashtra  NEET PG seat allotment 2022 will be done based on, Maharashtra  NEET PG rank, choices of colleges & courses filled, seats available, reservation criteria, and other factors. Based on these factors, the result of Maharashtra  NEET PG 2022 Counseling will be released on the MCC website after seat allotment processing. The Maharashtra  NEET PG seat allotment result 2022 will be released in the form of a PDF. The Maharashtra  NEET PG Counseling result PDF will mention the details of the candidate, rank secured, institute allotted, course allotted, and remarks.

MCC will release the Maharashtra  NEET PG 2022 seat allotment letters for shortlisted candidates on the official portal. What after Maharashtra  NEET PG Counseling round 1?

After the release of the Maharashtra  NEET PG 2022 seat allotment for Counseling round one, candidates will be required to follow the steps mentioned below based on their status.

1.    Free exit: The seat allotted in the first round of MCC Maharashtra  NEET PG Counseling will be canceled if a candidate does not report to the allotted institute within the stipulated time. Such an option is referred to as ‘free exit.’

2.    Accepting the seat allotted in round one: If a candidate who has been allotted a seat in the first round of Maharashtra  NEET PG 2022 Counseling is satisfied with the allotted seat they can report to the allotted institute and secure their seat by paying the tuition fee.

3.    Maharashtra gradation in round 2: If a candidate is not satisfied with the seat allotted to them, they can opt for Maharashtra gradation and participate in the second round of Maharashtra NEET PG Counseling 2022. In case the seat is not Maharashtragraded during the second round, the seat allotted to the candidate in Maharashtra  NEET PG Counseling round one will be retained.

The process of the second round of MCC Maharashtra  NEET PG Counseling 2022 will be the same as that of round one. During Maharashtra  NEET PG Counseling round two, new candidates will be required to register and pay the registration fee. However, filling fresh choices of courses and colleges will be mandatory for all the candidates willing to participate in round two of Maharashtra  NEET PG 2022 admission.

Who are eligible for Maharashtra  NEET PG 2022 Counseling round two

●      Candidates not allotted any seat in Maharashtra  NEET PG Counseling 2022 round one

●      Candidates whose seat allotted in Maharashtra  NEET PG admission round one got canceled in physical document verification

●      Candidates willing for Maharashtra-gradation of the seat in the second round of Maharashtra  NEET PG 2022 Counseling

●      Candidates who opted for free exit or did not participate in the Counseling of Maharashtra  NEET PG round one.

Candidates participating in round two of MCC Maharashtra  NEET PG 2022 Counseling must note that there is no option of ‘free exit’ in the second round of Counseling. If a candidate does not secure his Maharashtra  NEET PG admission 2022 in the college/seat allotted during round two, his/her refundable security deposit will be forfeited.

Maharashtra  NEET PG 2022 Counseling mop-Maharashtra round

●      The mop-Maharashtra round of MCC Maharashtra  NEET PG Counseling will be conducted only for admission to deemed and central universities and ESIC institutes.

●      Fresh registration: Candidates who exited either round one or round two of Maharashtra  NEET PG 2022 Counseling by not reporting to the allotted college will be required to register again for the mop-Maharashtra round.

●      No new registration: Candidates who did not get any seats either in round one or in round two of Maharashtra  NEET PG Counseling will not be required to register again for a mop-Maharashtra round.

●      Choice filling: All candidates will have to fill fresh choices of courses and colleges.

●      Seat allotment: The Maharashtra  NEET PG 2022 seat allotment of the mop-Maharashtra round will be published on the official website.

Maharashtra  NEET PG 2022 Counseling for state quota seats

●      Respective state authorities will conduct the Counseling of Maharashtra  NEET PG 2022 for the remaining 50% state quota seats and 100% seats in private institutes.

●      State quota Counseling process is being conducted after the declaration of Maharashtra  NEET PG result 2022 by the NBE.

●      Through state quota Maharashtra  NEET PG Counseling, 50% of seats in government colleges and 100% of seats in private colleges in the state will be filled.

●      Every state will release an application form for Maharashtra  NEET PG 2022 Counseling for state admission.

●      Candidates must fulfill the required eligibility criteria such as minimum Maharashtra  NEET PG cutoff, academic qualification, domicile, and other criteria to participate in state Maharashtra  NEET PG Counseling 2022.

●      Counseling conducting authority will release the Maharashtra  NEET PG state merit list of eligible candidates.

●      Candidates will be required to fill in their preference of colleges and courses and Maharashtra load relevant documents during Maharashtra  NEET PG Counseling for state quota seats.

●      Based on choices filled, Maharashtra  NEET PG 2022 state rank, reservation criteria, and other factors, candidates will be allotted MD, MS, and PG diploma seats in the state.
